Little Stars Officially Selected for Breath Of Fresh Air Festival
The Tasmanian Breath of Fresh Air Festival has officially selected Little Stars: Accomplishing the Extraordinary in the Face of Serious Illness in its 2015 Festival line-up.
Little Stars tells the surprisingly life-affirming stories of young people living with life-limiting illnesses. Against the odds these youngsters are making the most of every moment thanks to the support of their loved ones, working in harmony with passionate ‘palliative care’ teams.
Presented by acclaimed British actor David Suchet CBE, Little Stars is a film you will never forget. The raw power, insight and emotional honesty of this definitive human interest documentary will leave a lasting impression.
The Tasmanian Breath of Fresh Air (BOFA) Film Festival is intimate, thought-provoking and fun. The Festival finds fresh, innovative stories to inspire you to see the world differently – truly a ‘breath of fresh air’.
Little Stars’ Director, Mike Hill , who features in the BOFA 2015 Promotional Video above said, “I’m thrilled to be part of this year’s festival, thank you BOFA. As a filmmaker, I’m really guided by the principle that Stories Shape Our World and I think your festival beautifully encapsulates this spirit.”
Sue Collins, Producer of Little Stars, who also features in the video, adds, “Really, really excited to be part of this year’s BOFA Film Festival. It’s exactly the right fit for our film to be part of an intimate, thought-provoking and fun festival, it is just the perfect tone.”
Little Stars will be screened on Saturday November 7 in Launceston, Tasmania. Buy tickets.
